The parish of St Cleer and particularly Darite are having very real problems with inconsiderate dog owners who do not pick up after their animals, or leave them to roam and foul at will. Others have the disgusting habit of hanging the bags in trees and hedges when they do clear up.

I have invited a member of the Environmental Health team to come to the meeting of St Cleer Parish Council on 22nd January to talk about what both the PC and the community can do to put a stop to this.

St Neot still hasnt got superfast broadband as the fibre cables do not go that far. I have been asking questions and chasing this issue for some time and can now report that modelling will be complete by 31st March 2014 and, if it proves feasible, the work to enable this will be done in the next 12 months
