Viridor Credits

Viridor Credits grants funding to eligible projects, which must be situated within a 10 mile radius of their landfill site at Horningtops.

The Landfill Communities Fund (LCF), previously known as the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme or LTCS, is a government scheme which began in 1996 with the aim of providing funding for community or environmental projects in the vicinity of landfill sites.  Viridor Credits was formed in September 2001 and its role is to make the LCF monies available to eligible projects within theUK.

By the end of March 2010 Viridor Credits had distributed over £70 million and supported around 3,000 projects through various organisations.
