I have been contacted by many people over the last couple of days asking whether I know what is happening along Tremar Lane. I know of no reason for this work, I have not had any notification of any planning application to do anything on this land.

In view of the concerns expressed by you all I have raised this with both Planning enforcement and the World Heritage Site. I will post any replies here for you to see and will continue to ask questions. Unfortunately I have no authority to intervene directly and must work through the officers who do have that power.
